The problem is that Lotus billed her seminar as a “masterclass,” even though she wasn’t affiliated with the official Masterclass - America’s most popular online education platform.
The slippy terminology may have helped lend credence to unsubstantiated claims and was continued to be used by the press in writeups of Lotus’s class.
